Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix.
Working at the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix gave me the opportunity to experience the scale, energy, and complexity of one of the world’s biggest sporting events. Being part of such a global event showed me how much planning, coordination, and teamwork goes into creating a seamless experience for thousands of fans.
As part of the Campus Operations & Guest Experience team in the Beach Zone at Hard Rock Stadium, I worked directly with fans from different backgrounds and cultures. Every interaction taught me the importance of communication, attentiveness, and creating an environment where guests feel welcomed and valued.
One of my biggest takeaways was understanding that a great sporting event is about much more than what happens on the track. The atmosphere, guest services, team coordination, and small details all contribute to the overall experience. Seeing fans leave the event with smiles reinforced how meaningful those details can be.
The experience strengthened my skills in guest experience, event operations, teamwork, and fan engagement. More importantly, it gave me a deeper appreciation for the people behind major sporting events and taught me how collaboration, adaptability, and a genuine passion for sports can come together to create unforgettable experiences.
